When a retailer wanted a screen that could be watched from the street by day and still glow after dark, ordinary glass or a solid LED wall would not do. The brief called for a semi-outdoor P3.9 holographic transparent LED display covering 120 square metres in a fully custom frame — bright enough at 4500 nits to fight daylight, yet 85% transparent so the storefront and the merchandise behind it stay visible. The storefront sat on a busy pedestrian street with direct daylight on one side and heavy foot traffic on the other. Any conventional screen would have blocked the shop window and hidden the products inside, while a low-brightness panel would have washed out under the midday sun. The project also demanded a non-standard opening, which ruled out off-the-shelf cabinet sizes.

Colorsvisionled engineered a P3.9 holographic transparent LED display built on slim aluminium mullions. The see-through LED strips carry the light while the gaps between them let the shop window show through, giving the 85% transparency the client asked for. A custom cabinet layout was fabricated to wrap the exact façade opening, with concealed power and data runs so the finished wall looks clean from both sides.

Our crew delivered and installed the frame in sections, then aligned the transparent strips for a uniform, seam-free image across the full 120 m². Each module was colour-calibrated on site so brightness and colour matched from end to end, and the control system was commissioned for both scheduled playback and live input.
