A commercial building in Southeast Asia needed a large see-through media façade that could run all day in a tropical climate. The project brief specified a semi-outdoor P3.9 transparent LED display spanning 200 square metres with custom cabinet dimensions, a 4500 nit brightness so content stays readable in harsh sunlight, and 70% transparency to keep the glass front and interior visible. Southeast Asia's tropical climate put the screen under constant stress: strong sun, high humidity, salt-laden air near the coast and frequent heavy rain. At the same time the client wanted a 200 m² media surface that would not block the building glass or its daylight, and the unusual façade grid ruled out standard cabinet sizes.

Colorsvisionled engineered a semi-outdoor transparent LED display on a reinforced steel and aluminium frame. Each transparent LED strip is bonded to a slim custom cabinet sized to the façade grid, so the 200 m² wall fills edge to edge with no off-the-shelf filler panels. High-brightness 4500 nit LEDs keep daytime content punchy, while a 70% transparent structure lets passers-by see through to the building glass behind.

The custom cabinets were export-packed and shipped to the Southeast Asia site, then installed in sections on the prepared frame. Our engineers aligned the transparent strips across the full 200 m² for a uniform, seamless picture, calibrated brightness and colour module by module, and commissioned the control system for both scheduled advertising and live input.
